Call for projects is open until: 22 August 2014

Main goals of the Programme:
1) encourage international cultural cooperation;

2) promote high quality art in the regions of Lithuania.

Two strands of the Programme:

1) International co-productions

- 40.000-150.000 EUR for projects;
- up to 85% of project costs covered;
- projects must have partners from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein;
- projects must result in artistic products of high artistic and creative value;
- product of co-production must be made available in Lithuania and partner country;
- product of co-production must be made available in at least two regions in Lithuania;
- projects can represent all cultural sectors (except for film development projects).

 2) International cooperation projects

- 15.000 EUR – 40.000 EUR for projects;

- up to 85% of project costs covered;
- projects must have partners from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein;
- project as a beginning of long-term cooperation strategy between participating organizations;
- at least one project activity (seminar, workshop, study visit, etc.) organized in each partner country.

 

Eligible applicats

 

A legal entity registered in Lithuania operating in the cultural sector and established at least one year before the application submission date.

 

Areas of funding

 

Areas of culture and arts within the implementation of projects supported by the Programme, such as architecture, library activities, ethnic culture, literature, culture and art education, dissemination of cultural heritage, digitization of culture and cultural heritage, museum and gallery activities, visual arts, performing arts, music, interdisciplinary art, audiovisual art (except feature, documentary and animation film production).

 

Donor states

 

Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

 

Project Partner

 

A legal entity or another organisation from the Donor State, or a legal entity from Lithuania, which is actively involved in preparing a project application and contributes to the implementation of the project on the basis of the partnership agreement signed with the Applicant or the Project Promoter.

 

Region

 

Area outside the four largest cities (Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai) in Lithuania and area outside Oslo in Norway.


Bilateral funds:

- Dedicated for partner search prior to or during the preparation of a project application;
- Grant rate up to 100%;
- Grant size up to 2000 EUR per person per travel;
- Only Lithuanian organisations can apply, but organisations from donor countries can participate.
